- From the menu bar, choose Options
> Network Preferences.
- Select the Languages tab.
- Check boxes labeled Enable Java
and Enable JavaScript.

- From the menu bar, choose Edit
> Preferences.
- Select the Advanced category.
- Check boxes labeled Enable Java
and Enable JavaScript.

Internet Explorer
3.x:
- From the menu bar, choose View
> Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Check the boxes labeled Run
ActiveX scripts and Enable Java programs.

4.x:
- Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Set your security level to either
Medium or Low.
Internet Explorer
5.x and 6.x:
- From the menu bar, choose Tools
> Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Use the slider to set your security
level to Medium, Medium-low or Low.
Generally the most
commonproblem in Windows XP and not being Java capable. Go to http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html
and download the file.

AOL Browser:
- Launch AOL Browser.
- After the browser loads, go
to the Settings Menu on the top if the browser.
- Click on the pull-down window
and click on Preferences
- Click on the Internet Properties
(WWW) link in the Preferences dialogue
- Click on the Security TAB in
the AOL Internet Properties dialogue
- Choose 'Medium' Security Level
or lower.
