Salmon Fishing Charters
Salmon fishing is extremely popular--and successful--along Vancouver Island's west coast. Large runs of salmon migrate along the coast. Salmon fishing charters are generally available from spring thru fall. You aren't limited to salmon fishing, though: Halibut fishing and river fishing are also popular in our area.
Hiking in Sooke Potholes Provincial Park
The Sooke Potholes are a series of naturally carved, polished rock pools, located along the Sooke River. The unusual formations were formed by glacial action during the last ice age. The Sooke River is also an excellent location to view the annual salmon spawning run.
